• The Oldest building or the first building is said to have been a temporary built wattled and daubed cadian thatched one.
• It's Known that it become a permanent building during Sri Hircules Robinson who governed in sri Lanka from 1865 to 1872.
• Second building has erected in 1945 by late Mr Walakanda watte B.G Martin with the aids of School Children and the public.
• Third and fourth building and four lavatories have been built in 1957 - 1959 by late D.D Wimala Gunasekara the help of the villagers.
• Building 2,3 and 4 have been made by late Dr. Wickramasingshe with government aids
• Fifth and sixth buildings have been erected by the children of Mr and Mrs D.D Abegunasekara the former principal of MR/Athuraliya Maha Vidyalaya.

It is very useful to develop the teaching -learning process of the students .There are OHP , cassette , Radio , TV to develop of the students.Mrs I.G.S Wijerathne works as a incharge of this section.

• Mass Communication

  This was recently started to subject in O/L exam in our school.This is handled by Mrs I.G.S Wijerathne .In the morning assembly, there are special programs are conducting. In addition to that students operates the loud speaker and cassettes

• Laboratory

There are students from grade 6 to grade 11 study the science subject. It has so may science equipments .There are three science teachers to teach science.here is Mrs A.E.Tamara Dilrukshi , who serves as a lab Assistant in the school
